What it is
MILK Books is a service for creating custom printed photo books and albums through an online Design Studio. Its curated templates and design tools support projects in a browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile, with progress kept when switching devices. On Mac, a project extension connects with Apple Photos and can use photos already stored there, including Apple Albums, Memories, and Favorites. The extension also supports offline designing, though printing and purchasing require an internet connection. MILK says it has no dedicated iOS app; mobile projects and checkout use the browser-based Design Studio. Pages can hold up to 12 images, and Premium Photo Books are listed with up to 300 pages. Projects include free secure storage. Listed one-time prices are €37 for Classic Photo Book, €42 for Softcover Photo Book, €72 for Premium Photo Book, and €87 for Moleskine Photo Book. The company says its books and albums are handmade and print-on-demand using archival materials and professional printing. Customer Care is available seven days a week by phone and live chat, with email responses within 48 hours.
