Metronome Plus
What it is
Metronome Plus is an iOS app for musicians’ daily practice, recording sessions, and live performance. Its real-time audio technology is paired with training, practice, recording, and other modes. Users can adjust tempo, time signature, subdivision, polyrhythm, and accents, then save rhythms in the playlist manager or upload new ones. The app offers 16 sound options, multiple themes and backgrounds, and AirPlay support. Subdivision and polyrhythm controls are available; tap tempo is not. The free plan costs nothing and includes ads with no background play. The Full version costs $2.99, paid once, removes ads, and enables background play. Nighp Software describes itself as an independent app studio that has made mobile apps since 2012. Its privacy policy says Firebase Analytics collects screen-open and default Firebase events. It also says advertising platforms may collect device identifiers, MAC addresses, IMEI, coarse location, and IP addresses. App-use logs are stored locally and may be attached to support emails, with users able to edit or remove that attachment.
