What it is
Manga Editor Desu is a free browser editor for manga and comic pages. It combines panel layout, lettering, drawing, image editing, and export tools. The editor includes 69 panel templates, custom panel shapes, random cuts, and custom page sizes. Lettering options include 48 speech-bubble templates, 156 bundled fonts, vertical text, and 31 decorative image-text styles. Artists get eight brushes, five screentone generators, 15 image filters, 25 blend modes, image transforms, and six one-click monochrome conversions. Pages export as PNG using page-size and DPI settings or as SVG. Projects save as LZ4 files and can load from LZ4 or ZIP. Optional AI backends include ComfyUI, RunPod ComfyUI, SD WebUI, Fal.ai, Grok, and Ollama. After the first visit, cached assets support offline use, while a downloaded local copy is also available.
