Loocie Design
What it is
Loocie Design is a web-based studio for turning artwork motifs into seamless repeating patterns for fabric, wallpaper, wrapping, stationery, and print-on-demand products. It is not a drawing app: motifs need to be made elsewhere and brought into Studio. Extract accepts PNG, JPG, WEBP, and SVG files, identifies motifs on a sheet, cleans them, and passes sprites to Make Tile. Make Tile arranges motifs over a solid or patterned ground and exports print-ready PNG output. Repeat choices include Brick, Half-drop, Grid, Diamond, and Scatter, with a background layer and up to four motif layers. Preview displays the repeat across the screen and checks vertical, horizontal, and four-corner joins. A .loocie project file can bundle sprites, layout, and background. Studio works in a browser on desktop, tablet, and phone, with bottom tabs and pinch-to-zoom on smaller devices. The Studio beta is free. Signed-in uploads are private per account, and site files are automatically deleted after a short time. Sprite Clean is experimental and may produce rough results.
