LinkTiller
What it is
LinkTiller is a self-hosted WordPress plugin that finds posts and pages without incoming internal links and suggests contextual links among existing content. Its read-only scan maps incoming links and surfaces unlinked content, then ranks eligible source pages locally before sending a shortlist to the endpoint and model configured by the administrator. Suggestions include a source sentence, exact anchor, destination, rationale, and safeguards for review. Anchors must be exact phrases of 2–6 words already in the source, and destinations must be posts or pages on the scanned site. Scanning and requesting suggestions do not edit content; each insertion needs an administrator's explicit approval. If the source or destination changes after review, LinkTiller blocks the insertion and requires fresh opportunities. Approved links receive a receipt, and Undo can restore unchanged earlier content or remove only the tagged link while preserving later edits. The WordPress site sends requests directly to the configured OpenAI-compatible endpoint; its provider may charge separately. Usage telemetry is off by default. A free v0.2.1 download is available, with WordPress 6.0+ and PHP 7.4+ listed as requirements.
