Labelle
What it is
Labelle is free, open-source desktop software for printing labels on listed DYMO devices. It can print text, QR codes, barcodes, images, or combinations of these elements. Its PyQt6 graphical interface provides a live preview, margin settings, type-size selection, and tape-color visualization. Users can arrange text, QR, barcode, and image nodes, choose text fonts, and select barcode coding. Batch mode reads label specifications from standard input and supports text, newlines, QR codes, and barcodes. Listed devices include DYMO LabelManager PC, LabelPoint 350, LabelManager 280, LabelManager 420P, and LabelManager Wireless PnP. Windows support uses the WinUSB driver configured with Zadig. For Linux, the project recommends pipx and documents USB library and device-permission requirements. Labelle is distributed under the Apache-2.0 license and provided as-is without warranty. The project says it is not affiliated with DYMO or implying endorsement. PyPI lists version 1.5.0, released June 1, 2026.
