What it is
IRIS Reach is a parent engagement suite for secondary schools that brings email, SMS, and social media communication together. Parents can receive school information through a school-branded mobile app; the MyEd app also provides messages, attendance, timetables, absences, achievements, and behaviour information. Inbound and outbound messages can be automatically translated into over 40 languages.
Parents can view real-time attendance reports based on collated registration data. Schools can create electronic forms and surveys, share hosted documents through SMS or email links, and provide dedicated channels for departments and functions through up to twenty accounts. Reach includes reporting, analysis, response management, and an audit trail. It can synchronize with school management information systems such as SIMS and Integris; after setup, syncing runs nightly by default.
MyEd is available on iOS and Android, and Reach is also available on the web. IRIS offers schools a free demo, while pricing is on request. The helpdesk is available Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, by phone or email.
