Icovela
What it is
Icovela generates app icon images from a described subject and a selected style. It can create a consistent set in one batch, with 12+ preset styles and custom styles learned from one to four reference images. The service also offers a feature for turning a photo into a 3D icon. Generated sets can include transparent PNG files in multiple sizes; the homepage preview also lists PNG, SVG, and ICNS. A public API supports programmatic icon generation. Each icon generation costs 10 credits, and credits from one-time purchases do not expire. A free plan includes 200 credits one-time and five Photo to 3D Icon uses. Paid choices include one-time credit packs, such as 300 credits for $5.99, paid once, and monthly subscriptions, including Starter at $7.99 a month. The pricing page says subscriptions can be cancelled anytime. A valid Google account is required to use the service. The terms say users retain ownership of generated icons for personal or commercial use, but do not guarantee that outputs are unique or free from resemblance to existing works.
