What it is
I’M SAFE is a personal safety app for sharing location, following trips, and sending SOS alerts to selected contacts. It is available on Android and iOS. Sharing is organized through invite-only Bubbles, each with its own location-sharing choice. Journeys let invited Bubble members follow a trip, while Zones can notify selected members when someone arrives at or leaves a saved place. A live-location link can be set to remain active for one, three, or seven hours; anyone with the link can see the shared location while it is active. SOS alerts selected eligible Bubble contacts and shares live location, but does not contact emergency services. The free plan costs nothing and includes 24 hours of location and chat history, up to 25 people and two Zones per Bubble. I’M SAFE Plus costs $2.99 a month (billed Launch offer); the page also shows ~~$$4.99/month~~. Plus adds 30 days of history, larger Bubble limits, Weekly Travel Insights, Saved Messages, Zone Notes, and a Private Vault. The Vault stores selected records on the phone with encryption and device-authentication access.
