Heroic Games Launcher is a free, open-source desktop launcher for games from Epic Games Store, GOG, and Amazon Prime Gaming. It runs on Linux, Windows 10 and 11, macOS 14 or newer, and SteamOS, where downloads are available through Discover. Users can install, uninstall, update, repair, move, and import games; the Epic and GOG stores are accessible inside the interface. Heroic supports Wine and Proton on Linux and CrossOver on macOS, and Linux users can download custom Wine and Proton versions. It can sync game saves to the cloud and lets users add games or applications from outside Epic and GOG, although those additions may not receive automatic updates or save syncing. The FAQ says the launcher does not collect personal data, usernames, or passwords; optional anonymous analytics are off by default.
