What it is
Godalo is a free product search engine covering more than 1,000 retailers and a catalog of over four million products. Results show current prices, stock status, and purchase links, while natural-language search lets shoppers add a budget, brand, or feature and refine results conversationally. Product comparison is available, and the get_deals tool identifies products priced below listed recommended retail prices. Godalo works on the web and through an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, and other MCP clients. The server provides recommendation and deals tools, with code released under the MIT license on GitHub. Product data comes from retailer feeds refreshed regularly, so prices and stock can change before a visit to the retailer. Godalo only displays products from retailers in its affiliate network. Purchases happen on retailer sites; Godalo says it does not handle payments or card details. Search queries are logged for 90 days before automatic deletion, and search text is sent to Anthropic’s Claude Haiku API without names, email addresses, IP addresses, or persistent identifiers.
