What it is
Glovius is a CAD viewer for viewing, measuring, analyzing, comparing and exporting part, assembly and drawing files. It supports CATIA V5/V6, NX, Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, Solid Edge, STEP, DWG, DXF, IGES and JT. Analysis tools include thickness, collision and draft analysis, along with projected and section area tools. Glovius Cloud lets users view files in a browser without installation, share them by link and embed models in websites; it can also link to Dropbox for automatic synchronization. Free apps are available for iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. Export options include STEP, IGES, Parasolid, 3MF, JT, PDF, HTML, STL, images and PowerPoint. The Windows version runs on Windows 10 or Windows 11 and requires at least 4GB RAM; its downloadable CAD Viewer has a free 15-day trial. A free plan is listed alongside paid packs and annual subscriptions. A subscription license works on one machine. Floating licenses are installed on a server, allow one user at a time and may be borrowed for seven days.
