GeoSetter
What it is
GeoSetter is free Windows desktop software for viewing and changing geodata plus IPTC, XMP, and Exif metadata in image files. It reads and writes JPEG, TIFF, and camera RAW formats including DNG, CR2, NEF, ARW, RAF, RW2, and RWL. Coordinates and image direction appear on an embedded Google Maps display, or you can enter coordinates and altitude directly. The program can fill location fields and altitude automatically, synchronize images with NMEA, GPX, PLT, Sony LOG, IGC, and other track files, and export to Google Earth. ExifTool handles metadata writing, while batch editing and metadata templates support repeated work. The interface offers 13 listed languages. Version 3.5.3 is listed from 29 October 2019. Maps and automatic location data need internet access.
