What it is
GEA Codex® Recipe Manager is an MES software module for managing and executing master recipes in industrial production. Recipe definitions can include ingredients, access points and operating instructions, and the graphical system can create production records with recipe setpoints and measured values. A double-check process validates recipe changes against earlier versions. The module also tracks changes to recipe values, analyzes recipes and produces reports. Human-readable codes and RFID can identify materials for automated batch execution. GEA Codex® Enterprise Connect transfers execution details, including process parameters and raw-material consumption, to ERP level. The included Scheduler supports production timetabling, order priorities and manual or automatic batch splitting based on line size and availability.
