Frederick, Maryland, United States
What it is
Fornetix VaultCore is an enterprise encryption key management ecosystem that automates key lifecycle work. It combines attribute-based and role-based access controls with a policy engine that arranges an organization into a hierarchy intended to support security standards. VaultCore supports more than one hundred million encryption keys and can automate rotation and other lifecycle tasks. It connects directly with devices and services using the Key Management Interoperability Protocol. Its Orchestration Gateway translates KMIP commands into APIs for systems without KMIP and includes plugins for AWS, Microsoft Azure, F5, and custom proprietary systems. Deployment choices include hardware, virtual, and cloud appliances, plus the gateway, in a hybrid model. Listed interfaces include graphical, command-line, RESTful, KMIP, client and agent, and HSM PKCS#11 options. Cloud capabilities include BYOK, cloud security brokers, multi-cloud environments, VMware, and AWS containers. Splunk alert response and Common Event Format audit logs are also listed.
