Focus Fence
What it is
Focus Fence blocks selected apps and websites based on where you are, with rules for places such as school, work, or home. Choose a location on a map and adjust its boundary; the rule applies when you arrive and stops when you leave. Schedules provide another way to set when blocking applies. You can block chosen distractions or allow only essential apps and websites, and Emergency Unblock provides temporary access for exceptions. Focus Fence requires Screen Time and location access. Its minimalist launcher can be added as a Home Screen widget. The maker says configuration is stored on the device, without a Focus Fence server or account database for its rules. Optional sync is off by default and uses Apple's iCloud key-value storage for selected setup data. The app uses TelemetryDeck for anonymous usage statistics, which it says are not used for tracking or advertising. It does not access contacts, display ads, or share data with third parties for marketing. iOS requires version 18.0 or later; Mac support requires macOS 15.0 or later and an Apple M1 chip or later. Plans include a free download with in-app purchases, $4.99 per month, $14.99 per year, and $24.99 once for lifetime access.
