What it is
FileSeek is a Windows file-search app supporting simple queries, regular expressions, and advanced text searches. It uses multithreading and does not rely on background indexing. Searches can cover local paths, network shares, and synced cloud folders such as Dropbox and OneDrive. Advanced IFilters allow processing of non-text files including Excel and PDF. Pro licenses add saved search profiles with synchronization between computers, multiple search tabs, and CSV or HTML result exports. The free license is for personal use and excludes those Pro functions. Lifetime Pro options cover one computer, unlimited personal computers with one company computer, one site, or unlimited company-owned sites. Pro Standard costs $19, paid once. Supported systems include Windows 10 version 1607 or higher, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022. Downloads include installer, ZIP, and MSI builds, with WinGet installation also listed. SHA1 hashes help verify downloads, and support is included with free and Pro licenses.
