What it is
Drumazon 2 is a macOS and Windows plug-in emulating the sounds of the original 909 drum machine. It requires a compatible host and is not standalone. Its step sequencer provides tap recording, randomization, hundreds of factory patterns, per-step flam, and editable substep variants. Patterns can be dragged out as MIDI, and triggering is available through MIDI notes, MIDI CC, or the graphical interface. Each drum channel includes filtering, two-band parametric EQ, compression, and routing to either effect bus or the master bus. Effects include bitcrusher, distortion, reverb, delay, chorus, dynamics, EQ, and filtering. Master processing offers presets, a three-band compressor, and a limiter with soft clip.
