What it is
DRAWings PRO XII is software for graphics design and production work involving embroidery, textile and screen printing, computerized quilting, cut and stencil crafting, and fabric painting. It imports vector and bitmap graphics, and exports designs to a range of embroidery machine formats, including Tajima, Brother/Baby Lock, Bernina/Melco, and Janome formats. Tools include automatic scaling to fit a design within an embroidery hoop and stitch-density adjustment within a 25% range. Version XII introduces a patent-pending Sketch stitch engine, support for additional embroidery machine models and hoop sizes, and printouts that can include barcodes for compatible machines to load a design with stitch-count and color-change information. The package includes 204 embroidery-ready clipart items, 147 cut vector designs, and more than 3,000 embroidery designs. Designs can be copied and pasted from CorelDRAW or imported as exported CMX files, but DRAW-Stitch functionality is no longer available in this version. The full downloadable package costs $2,199, paid once. Windows and macOS are supported; activation and updates require an active internet connection. A trial is available after an evaluation form is submitted and reviewed.
