What it is
Delta Patcher is a free desktop application for creating and applying .xdelta patches on Linux, macOS, and Windows. In Create mode, it compares an original file with a modified file and writes the differences into a new xdelta patch. Apply mode combines the original file expected by that patch with its matching .xdelta file to produce a patched output. The application includes the xdelta3 engine, so a separate xdelta3 command-line installation is not required. Checksum validation can identify a source file that does not match, and an option lets users preserve the original as a backup.
