DBeaver
What it is
DBeaver is a database management product line with a free, open-source Community edition and paid options. Community supports databases with a JDBC driver and can also work with external data sources that lack one. Its desktop tools include an SQL editor, spreadsheet-like data editing, query history, a visual query builder, and utilities to import, export, compare, and migrate data. DBeaver says its products connect to over 100 sources, spanning SQL, NoSQL, and cloud databases. Ultimate adds native AWS, GCP, and Azure support and a Cloud Explorer for cloud and on-premise databases. The broader lineup includes CloudBeaver Enterprise, a web-server application, and Team Edition, a server-based platform deployable on premises or in the cloud. Team Edition provides GraphQL and REST APIs, an MCP server, and a JDBC proxy driver. Supported desktop systems include Windows 10 or later, Windows Server 2016 or later, macOS 11 or later, and most modern Linux distributions. Community is free under Apache License 2. Listed individual subscriptions include Lite at $12 a month or $113 a year, Enterprise at $26 a month or $255 a year, and Ultimate at $51 a month or $510 a year.
