What it is
CyberInstaller Suite is Windows software for developers who create installation packages for applications. Its Studio module uses a graphical interface and wizard to assemble packages, which can be compressed as self-extracting executables. Other modules include Installer, Extractor, Updater, CIPEW, and Downloader. Output can also be prepared for CD/DVD or as a web page linking to a package download. The Find Dependencies tool detects dependencies in Visual Basic, Delphi, and .NET projects and executables, and can add required runtime files. During installation, the suite can download prerequisites that are not embedded in the package; distributed applications can also be updated online. If rollback is enabled, it records system changes and can restore the earlier state during removal. It can digitally sign packaged executables and the package without modifying original files.
