Customizable Player Models
What it is
Customizable Player Models is a free, MIT-licensed project for creating custom avatars in Minecraft Java Edition. Its editor combines vanilla player parts with custom model parts, textures, and animated textures. Users can hide or move normal player components, make skin parts glow, and create animations. To use a model, export it and upload the resulting image as a Minecraft skin. Models can also be stored in unused skin space or as a GitHub Gist, with export formats including Minecraft skin files, .cpmmodel files, and Base64 model data. Downloads are listed for Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, and Quilt across Minecraft versions. An optional Bukkit/Spigot plugin supports in-game skin changes and offers the same features as installing the mod on a Forge or Fabric server. ViveCraft support is listed, while OSC can drive eye or face tracking, heart-rate, Stream Deck, or script animations through a compatibility addon. Simple Voice Chat and Plasmo Voice animations require separate compatibility mods. The model-sharing site is under development.
