CoverForge
What it is
CoverForge is a web-based AI book-cover generator for self-published authors preparing ebook or print files. To start a design, users select a genre, describe a scene in one sentence, and choose a mood. The image model creates original artwork, while genre-specific art direction and font pairings set the title and author-name layout. The listed genres include fantasy, romance, thriller, science fiction, horror, cozy mystery, literary fiction, and non-fiction. The free plan includes unlimited previews and a watermarked 1024px export. A one-time $14 Single cover purchase provides a 1600 × 2400 PNG that the site says meets Amazon KDP’s recommended ebook-cover specification, as well as requirements for Kobo Writing Life, Apple Books, Google Play Books, and Draft2Digital. The $29 Print + eBook pack adds a wrap PDF with back cover, spine, front cover, bleed, and an ISBN barcode zone. Spine width is calculated from page count and paper type. Paid exports include a full commercial license, and artwork can be regenerated before export without an additional regeneration charge.
