Convoy

What it is
Convoy is a webhook gateway for receiving and sending events with delivery controls for application teams. It supports incoming and outgoing webhooks, automatically retries failed deliveries, and offers event inspection, replay, routing rules, and signature verification. Events can be ingested from Amazon SQS, Apache Kafka, Google PubSub, RabbitMQ, and HTTP. A developer portal lets users view deliveries and configure or debug endpoints. Prometheus metrics and OpenTelemetry support provide observability. Convoy separates its control plane from its data plane and uses PostgreSQL for event durability. Security options include HMAC signatures, static IPs, IP blacklisting, and replay-attack prevention. The service is available through web and API access, with self-hosted deployment keeping payloads, secrets, and logs inside the customer’s infrastructure. Convoy states that it is SOC 2 and GDPR compliant and offers SSO, SAML, private networking, RBAC, and a 99.999% uptime SLA. Community is free forever for one user and one organization. Premium costs $999 a month, and a 14-day trial is listed.
