What it is
ColorThink is a color graphing and analytics tool for calibrating printing systems, checking accuracy and preparing measurements for ICC profiling or use as color references. ColorThink 4 can measure directly from connected instruments, sending results to a worksheet or graph based on where measurement begins. Color Assets organizes installed profiles and other color-related assets, with filtering and sorting by metadata. The Pro license adds gamut comparisons by subtraction or addition and calculates a Gamut Comparison Index. Image animation is included at all license levels and shows images shifting between their normal display and Lab color values in the grapher. Optional PrePressPack adds nColor profile and color-list handling, device-link and ColorCast profile creation, white-point editing and remapping, and patch tuning. The software supports listed instruments from X-Rite, Barbieri, Konica Minolta, Techkon and Color Sentinel, and can scan targets made by several listed measurement tools. ColorThink 4 version 4.2 is listed for macOS and Windows. ColorThink 4 Photo costs $249, paid once; Pro and bundles are also available at higher one-time prices.
