CoinPayments
What it is
CoinPayments is a crypto payment service for merchants, with processing, wallets, invoices, and payment integrations available through its web product and API. The homepage says it accepts more than 40 cryptocurrencies. Merchants can set an exchange rate when preparing an invoice, and incoming deposits may be detected within seconds with risk screening before blockchain confirmation. Checkout options include hosted checkout, invoice links, Buy Now buttons, white-label checkout, payment buttons, e-commerce plugins, and API-generated invoices. Its REST JSON API supports wallets, transactions, invoices, and signed webhooks, with official SDKs for Python, JavaScript/Node.js/TypeScript, and PHP. Official plugins are listed for WooCommerce 6.0+ and WHMCS 9.0+; other platforms are in development. Three listed free plans charge different transaction fees: 3% plus network fees per payment, 3% for coins and tokens, or 3% plus a network fee for batch settlement. CoinPayments says custodial arrangements may include fund insurance coverage and describes MPC-backed signing, ISO 27001 certification, and AML/KYC frameworks. It says it cannot serve EU/EEA clients after 1 July 2026 due to MiCA requirements.
