What it is
Cineboard is a visual pre-production workspace for directors, cinematographers, and small creative teams. Its Moodboard gathers reference images, notes, and links on a canvas that users can arrange and connect. Storyboard Shot Cards keep images and actions alongside director notes and technical details such as lens, camera, shot size, angle, movement, and FPS. The Shooting Plan schedules shots in shooting order while preserving the storyboard's narrative order, with dates, locations, start times, buffers, and weather and daylight context. Users can export a storyboard as a PDF and a shooting day as a Paper Schedule. Frame Lab can generate and revise frames from character, location, and styling references, but it is optional. Cineboard is desktop-first and works best in current Chrome, Safari, or Edge; iPad is supported for review and light editing. Internet access is required for cloud saving, collaboration, and generation.
