Chordify

Groningen, Netherlands

What it is

Chordify turns music from YouTube, SoundCloud, or a private collection into chords aligned with an interactive player. You can search those services and a catalog of 36 million songs already chordified, then play along on guitar, ukulele, piano, or mandolin. Mandolin is available only on the website and Android app. Chordify uses deep neural networks to identify chords and track beats. Its web and mobile versions share songs you chordify or favorite. Chords can be output as PDF or MIDI, and chordified songs can be embedded on websites or blogs, though edits are unavailable in embeds. The Toolkit includes a chromatic tuner, metronome, chord practice, and live chord detection; Premium Plus includes all Toolkit features. Deezer songs are unavailable, and Deezer links work only on the website. Chordify offers a free plan. Basic costs $24 a year, Premium $42 a year, and Premium Plus $54 a year.
