Ceremonies
What it is
Ceremonies is an open-source toolkit for agile estimation and retrospective sessions, available as a hosted web service or for self-hosting. Estimation rooms use a Modified Fibonacci deck with a coffee-cup option; votes stay hidden until reveal, and results can be pushed to Jira. Sessions sync updates through WebSockets without a page refresh, and past rounds can be copied into a Slack summary. Retrospectives use Happy, Sad, and Confused cards, anonymous writing, and enforced phases. Action items can carry into the next retrospective. Participants can join with a room link or code without an account. The source code is MIT-licensed, and Docker support is described as planned. The Free plan costs nothing and allows one team, five members, and ten sessions per month. The privacy policy says the service does not sell user data, run ads, or use it to train AI models.
