BlitzCut AI
What it is
BlitzCut AI is a video editor for short-form clips and longer talking videos. It removes pauses on-device, generates captions and lets users cut footage by deleting matching words or sentences from a transcript. Transcripts can also be translated in one tap. Other tools include filler-word removal, noise reduction, loudness leveling, speed control from 0.5x to 4x, text-to-speech, AI chat editing, overlays, a multi-clip timeline and reframing for vertical, square or widescreen video. It accepts MP4, MOV and M4V files and exports MP4 up to 4K. Silence removal and manual editing work without internet, while captions, transcription and text-to-speech require a connection. The maker reports 95%+ transcription accuracy on clear speech, with results affected by audio quality, speed, accents and technical jargon. The free tier includes all features but watermarks exports; Premium removes the watermark and adds priority processing. Premium is listed at $16.99 a month or $69.99 a year, with a 3-day trial.
