BIMx Web Viewer
Budapest, Hungary
What it is
BIMx Web Viewer lets project stakeholders explore a BIMx Hyper-model in a browser, without installing a program or downloading an app. A Hyper-model brings linked 2D project documentation together with embedded BIM data and 3D models. Models made in Archicad or DDScad can be published locally, to BIMx Model Transfer, to BIMcloud, or elsewhere. The Measure tool provides length, angle, and area measurements in 2D, along with measurement guides in 3D. Presentations can run through Gallery views or Favorites, with automatic transitions. Favorites stay in the browser and are not included when a Hyper-model is shared. The free browser viewer is available on the web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, though listed browser support varies by system and iOS/iPadOS are marked unsupported on the system requirements page. Pro features include hiding 3D elements, managing layer visibility, and changing the cut plane. Model Transfer access requires an eligible company membership and Graphisoft ID sign-in.
