BCWipe Total WipeOut
Helsinki Metropolitan Area, Finland
What it is
BCWipe Total WipeOut erases complete storage devices before reuse, disposal, or redeployment. It handles HDDs, SSDs, NVMe, SSHDs, Mac drives, and removable media, covering boot records, file-system structures, operating-system files, and hidden HPA and DCO areas. The software identifies drive types and applies corresponding wiping policies, including hardware erasure commands. More than 14 erasure standards are available, including DoD and NIST schemes. Enterprise Console lets organizations wipe multiple computers over a network in a browser, automate jobs for computer groups, and assign Administrator, Operator, or Auditor roles. It creates tamper-proof PDF certificates with erasure details, verification results, and hardware diagnostics. Bootable media makes wiping OS-independent, although Windows is needed to create the boot disk. Enterprise boot choices include USB, CD/DVD, EXE, and PXE. A 21-day trial provides one-pass wiping; licensed versions include all schemes. Jetico offers Linux, macOS, and Windows support.
