Bandura
What it is
Bandura is a desktop workspace for building AI workflows locally and testing APIs. Its visual canvas works with editable YAML workflows, which are stored as plain-text .aether files that can be shared or committed with Git. API checks can chain HTTP requests, pass values between steps, and assert results; imports include Postman, Insomnia, OpenAPI, Bruno, HAR, and curl requests. AI features connect to providers including Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenAI-compatible endpoints, Groq, OpenRouter, Together, Ollama, and LM Studio. With Ollama or LM Studio, AI features can run locally without an API key or traffic leaving the machine. A native CLI runs the same workflows in terminals and CI, with JUnit and GitHub annotations. A local MCP server lets compatible assistants work with flows. Bandura says it collects no telemetry, analytics, crash reports, or account data; workflows and run history stay on the user's machine. The free plan is free. A commercial licence costs $59, paid once per seat and includes 12 months of updates.
