Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC)
What it is
Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) creates and manages elastically scalable cloud server instances through web, API, Linux, and Windows access. Instance families include general-purpose, compute-optimized, storage-optimized, GPU, and FPGA choices. Deployments can use public, marketplace, service-integration, or custom images, with adjustable instances and bandwidth, autoscaling, load balancing, and hybrid connections to private data centers. BCC includes object storage, managed databases, local caching, Baidu Object Storage targets, NFS and CIFS protocols, S3 compatibility, and API access. Storage features include edge synchronization, multi-region replication, versioning, lifecycle rules, retention policies, image scanning, and OCI artifacts, with objects up to 48800 GB. Traffic tools include DNS health checks, advanced steering, and an instance virtual firewall. Security listings include DDoS protection, rapid failover, snapshots, monitoring alerts, and 99.9999999% stated data durability. Billing can be postpaid per minute, prepaid, or reserved.
