What it is
Automic Automation orchestrates workloads across hybrid environments, including mainframes, cloud-native systems, and microservices. It provides centralized control, self-service workflows, workflow dependencies, event triggers, and cross-platform execution. For service-level management, the platform tracks critical paths, forecasts bottlenecks, and monitors workflow risks to service-level agreements. Dedicated Agentic AI Jobs can perform dynamic tasks such as remediation and data routing within Automic object definitions. Automic supports a Bring Your Own Model architecture and can operate as both a Model Context Protocol client and server for external large language models. Broadcom’s Automation Marketplace offers hundreds of plugins and connectors, including ServiceNow, Oracle, SAP, Google Cloud, and AWS. Deployment options include on-premises, cloud-native Kubernetes containers, and managed Automic SaaS. SaaS provides feature parity with the on-premises product, automatic updates, and no infrastructure to manage. Broadcom says downloads are available through its Support Portal, while the download REST API is deprecated.
