Auth3D
Singapore
What it is
Auth3D creates persistent records that connect physical products to their identity, maker, design provenance, production notes, and supporting evidence. Buyers, service teams, distributors, or collectors can reach a record through a QR code, NFC tag, RFID workflow, serial number, direct URL, or typed Unique Part Identifier. A standard phone browser is enough to view the public verification page; no app installation is required. Records can contain a reference image and owner-facing support information, with visibility set to public, hidden direct-link, private, or password-protected. Published records are designed to keep resolving at the same URL after account activity stops. The API supports identifier generation or reservation, record creation with image evidence, production-field updates, and record retrieval. It can work alongside ERP, MES, QMS, label services, or custom production applications, subject to each connection's permissions and credentials. Auth3D provides an identity and lookup layer for product passport planning, but does not certify compliance or safety claims. Free Registry includes 10 permanent part records; Production is $12.50 a month, billed $125 paid annually.
For and against
For
- Records support QR, NFC, RFID, serial, and URL lookup.
- Verification works in a phone browser without an app.
- Records offer public, hidden-link, private, and password-protected visibility.
- API supports record creation, updates, and retrieval.
Against
- Auth3D does not independently certify compliance or safety claims.
- Free Registry includes 10 permanent part records.
- Connections to other platforms require their own permissions and credentials.
The verdict
Auth3D gives physical products a lookup record that can carry identity, production, and support details. It is not a substitute for regulatory certification or official conformity decisions.
Who it suits
Free Registry is described for makers, designers, and small manufacturers. Production is aimed at recurring runs, replacement parts, limited editions, and serviceable equipment.
