Auconet BICS
San Francisco, California, United States
What it is
Auconet BICS provides IT operations and systems management, network access control and service management for large, complex and multi-tenant networks. A central console discovers, monitors, manages and controls heterogeneous equipment, including servers, desktops, ATMs, kiosks, retail point-of-sale systems and mobile devices. BICS identifies wired and wireless endpoints in real time and consolidates device information into a real-time configuration management database. It supports mixed device brands through shared commands and workflows, and can manage hundreds of thousands of network elements from one console. For access security, it supports MAC Layer-2 authentication and IEEE 802.1X separately or together, with policies for wired and wireless endpoints. BICS can also discover and monitor SCADA infrastructure. Deployment choices include cloud, an on-premises appliance, a virtual on-premises solution or a multi-tenant implementation. Open APIs can connect network discovery and visibility to security tools such as SIEM systems, vulnerability management and next-generation firewalls. Auconet lists pricing on request and invites prospective customers to contact it by email or through its information request form.
