AT&T IP Flexible Reach
Dallas, Texas, United States
What it is
AT&T IP Flexible Reach is a SIP trunking service for businesses using premises-based telephony equipment. It provides inbound and outbound local and long-distance calling while allowing an existing PBX and current voice equipment to remain in use. Voice and data share an integrated access circuit, and businesses can increase or decrease concurrent call channels. Branch extensions can share trunks across locations. The service connects premises-based or cloud-based Microsoft Teams PBX systems to the public switched telephone network. Teams customers may use their own certified Session Border Controller or have AT&T host and manage one. AT&T says calls travel on its MPLS network rather than the public internet, while on-net VoIP-to-VoIP calls within that network do not incur additional charges. A web portal provides performance reporting, call-detail reporting, and e-ordering. Network access requires AT&T Dedicated Internet Service or AT&T Virtual Private Network. Pricing is available on request.
