Apitally
What it is
Apitally is a cloud service for API usage analytics, performance monitoring and troubleshooting. Its dashboards show request volume, errors, response times and API consumer activity by endpoint and consumer. Optional request logging lets teams search requests and responses alongside correlated application logs and traces. Users can set thresholds for 14 traffic, error and performance metrics, plus uptime and synthetic HTTP health checks. Apitally sends notifications to Slack or Microsoft Teams and supports Cloudflare Workers through Logpush, with serverless SDKs for Hono and FastAPI. Supported frameworks include FastAPI, Django REST Framework, Flask, Express, Fastify, Hono and ASP.NET Core. SDKs aggregate metrics on the client; logging and traces include controls to limit collection and mask or exclude sensitive data. Apitally says transfers use HTTPS and TLS, while database storage and backups are encrypted at rest. Aggregated metrics remain for 13 months, request and application logs for 15 days, and backups for seven days. There is no free plan, but a 14-day trial is available. Starter, Basic and Premium plans vary by apps, users, consumers and monthly log quotas.
