Apache SINGA
What it is
Apache SINGA is a distributed deep-learning library for training machine-learning and deep-learning models. It supports data-parallel training across multiple GPUs on one machine or across nodes, with local training and on-premises deployment listed. GPU acceleration is available, and the installation guide documents CUDA and cuDNN packages as well as Docker images for Nvidia GPUs. Installation options include pip, Docker, Conda, and source; pip installation supports Python 3.9, 3.10, and 3.11. The project supports Python and C++, loads ONNX models, and can save models created with its APIs in ONNX format. Available optimizers include stochastic gradient descent with momentum, Adam, RMSProp, and AdaGrad. Its repository and Google Colab offer domain-specific models, including healthcare and science examples. Healthcare examples cover diabetic retinopathy classification, malaria detection, and thyroid eye disease detection. Models trained with SINGA can also be queried in an RDBMS. It runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows, and is released under Apache License Version 2.0. SINGA is free, with mailing lists, issue tracking, and security resources listed by the project.
