What it is
AndBible is a free Bible study app for Android, iOS, macOS, and Linux. It provides Bible, commentary, dictionary, book, and map modules, with thousands of documents available through module repositories. Bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, bookmarks, notes, and study pads can work offline. Study features include Strong’s numbers, morphology, cross-references, and side-by-side commentaries. Workspaces provide split windows, synchronized scrolling, and pinned documents. Bookmarks and workspaces can sync through Google Drive or Nextcloud; on iOS, users can also sync through their own iCloud, Nextcloud, or WebDAV account. An optional AI assistant can translate, explain, summarize, annotate, and perform word studies using external providers. AI requires internet access and a provider API key, sends selected text externally, and may create provider charges. Sword and EPUB formats are supported, with experimental MyBible and MySword support.
