Alice · Copenhagen, Denmark · founded 2024
What it is
Alice is a web, iOS, and Android AI tutor for building study plans, explanations, quizzes, and practice exams from course material. Its one-to-one tutor adjusts learning to a student’s level, pace, and goals. Students can upload PDFs, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations, and Alice says it can work from those materials alone while citing uploaded sources inline. Study tools include summaries, multiple-choice, open-ended, and true-or-false quizzes, flashcards, and written or oral exam practice with grading. A library of ready-made courses can be searched, and Alice says it may already know a student’s curriculum. Progress syncs across devices, and almost any language is supported. The free Alice Basic plan includes each study tool up to a weekly limit, one written and one oral mock exam weekly, and the first two chapters of each ready-made course. Alice Pro has monthly or yearly billing options, unlimited feature use, the full course library, and cancellation at any time; no amount is displayed. Alice was founded in Copenhagen in 2024.
