Alias Email
Sheridan, Wyoming, United States
What it is
Alias Email creates alternative email addresses that forward messages to a primary inbox, helping users keep that address private and organize incoming mail. Users can create aliases with personal or business domains, send anonymously from aliases, and forward one alias to multiple recipients. Its browser extension can generate an alias from an email field and is listed for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Opera, Vivaldi, Brave and Tor. The service says it removes trackers from forwarded messages and lets users add a PGP public key so email is encrypted before forwarding; the private key remains with the user. Forwarded messages are not stored except during service outages, when temporary storage may last up to three days. Alias Email says it uses TLS, SPF and DKIM, and states that it is GDPR compliant and does not sell or disclose user data. The free plan is free and includes 10 aliases and one custom domain. Premium costs $39.96 per year ($3.33/month, billed annually) and includes unlimited aliases and two custom domains. The service has browser extensions but no mobile apps.
