AlfaPTE

Overview

AlfaPTE covers PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI, PTE Core and PTE Home. Candidates can combine speaking practice, writing feedback and a study plan with score tracking, while institutes can use a separate suite for running training programs.

AlfaPTE says it operates independently and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Pearson Education Ltd or Pearson VUE. Payments go through a third-party payment gateway, and support is offered by email and WhatsApp.

Key features

Practice and AI feedback

AI scoring provides instant feedback on practice questions and mock tests, which can help candidates review work as they go. The free scoring allowance is uneven: five daily checks apply to Speaking, Reading and Listening questions except SST, while Writing and SST each receive only one check. That makes free access useful for sampling the feedback, but a poor fit for candidates who need repeated writing or SST evaluation.

Mock tests and progress

Full, sectional, timed and custom mock tests let candidates vary the size and structure of a session. Performance analytics and score tracking can help them monitor practice over time. Free users get one full and one sectional mock test, so candidates seeking repeated exam-length practice will need more than the free tier.

Mobile and account access

The iOS and Android apps support 24 languages and include dark mode and MP3 listening practice. A single login and subscription works across the website and mobile app, which is convenient for switching between study settings without maintaining separate accounts.

Institute tools

Training businesses get a branded practice portal, student account management, performance analytics and tools for adding study materials. PTE and IELTS student platforms can be managed through one partner panel, with purchased credits usable for either. The five-account minimum and one-user-at-a-time limit per student account make this a better fit for organized cohorts than very small groups or shared accounts.

Pricing

Free Plan

The Free Plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes 20,000 practice questions, limited AI scoring, one full mock test, one sectional mock test and limited templates. It is a substantial question bank for exploring the service, but its scoring and mock-test caps limit its usefulness as a complete preparation plan.

Paid plans have custom pricing. AlfaPTE says purchased plans cannot be canceled or changed, so candidates should be confident about their selection before paying; institutes should also account for the five-student minimum and simultaneous-access restriction.

Platforms

AlfaPTE runs on the web, iOS and Android. The shared login and subscription carry across web and mobile, while the mobile apps add 24-language support, dark mode and MP3 listening practice.

Who it's for

AlfaPTE is a strong fit for PTE candidates who want varied mock formats, AI feedback and progress tracking in one service, especially those willing to move beyond the free scoring caps. It is less suited to learners who need unlimited free evaluations or flexible cancellation. Institutes may value the branded portal and cross-exam credit management, provided they can meet the minimum account purchase.

Pros and cons

• Pro: Full, sectional, timed and custom mock tests support different practice goals.
• Pro: One account works across web and mobile, and the apps add MP3 listening practice and 24-language support.
• Pro: Institute tools combine a branded portal, student analytics and PTE/IELTS credit use under one partner panel.
• Con: Free AI checks are tightly limited for Writing and SST, with only one check each.
• Con: The free plan includes just one full and one sectional mock test.
• Con: Purchased plans cannot be canceled or changed, and institute accounts require at least five student seats with one-user-at-a-time access.

Its breadth is the main draw; the free scoring limits and non-cancelable, unchangeable paid plans are the main reasons to compare alternatives before committing.
