It converts each question into SQL, runs that query in read-only mode, and returns a chart, table, and plain-English response. The exact SQL appears with every answer for inspection, and users can rephrase questions so AgentSQL rewrites and reruns them. Supported connections listed by the service include Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake, and BigQuery. Connections use least-privilege read-only credentials, can be limited to selected tables, and can be revoked. AgentSQL says it cannot write, update, or delete database data.
