What it is
AfterGather is a free web workspace for photographers delivering client galleries and collecting guest photos. Session projects provide password-gated private proofing with favourites, edit requests, and role-based downloads. Event projects accept guest uploads through QR-driven flows, along with comments and reactions, and can show approved media on a projector. Guests upload in a browser without an app or account. Projects can be public, unlisted, accessed by QR or link, password protected, invite-only, or limited to signed-in users. A venue slideshow can rotate automatically, pause remotely, apply optional approval, and refresh after connection dropouts. The service keeps HEIC and HEIF originals, creates 720p video previews, and supports caps up to 200 MB per photo and 2 GB per video. The Free plan includes two active projects, 5 GB pooled storage, Session and Event modes, live slideshow, branded pages, and separate approval queues. The first project has a 30-day storage term; other terms may begin at 180 or 365 days before grace, archive, and deletion.
