What it is
Acrylic Wi-Fi Heatmaps is Windows software for planning WiFi networks, surveying sites, and identifying coverage or performance problems. It supports WiFi 7 across the 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands. Planning tools let users draw walls, assign materials, place access points, configure antennas, and simulate coverage heat maps. Indoor and outdoor surveys can generate up to 15 heatmap types, including 3D maps, with metrics for signal strength, interference, channel overlap, SNR, channel coverage, device density, and access-point coverage. WiFi Quality includes web-browsing and VoIP profiles plus additional controls. Reports can be edited and exported as DOCX, CSV, or KMZ in four listed languages. Spectrum analysis can use Wi-Spy or Oscium hardware, and GPS can use embedded or compatible NMEA 0183 receivers.
