What it is
Achievement Scavenger is a free, open-source desktop companion for tracking game achievements and following completion guides. It monitors progress from Steam, PlayStation, RetroAchievements, and Xbox while you play. The app detects launched games, shows achievement status and rarity, and can save a screenshot when an achievement unlocks. Community walkthroughs combine instructions, embedded media, live tracking, and checklists for collectibles or side quests. Before a point of no return, missable-achievement warnings can appear. Mini Mode keeps an overlay above the game, offers five styles, and uses Ctrl+Shift+T as its toggle. A local server and QR code open a mobile-friendly tracker on a phone. GitHub Gists can back up and restore history and checklists across devices. It runs on Windows 10/11 and Linux/Steam Deck. Service tracking may require keys, tokens, or accounts.
