ABC-Deploy
What it is
ABC-Deploy is a policy-driven tool for deploying software and collecting inventory across Windows networks. Administrators can install or uninstall software, maintain software user profiles, and assign tasks based on factors such as OU or AD group membership, hardware configuration, or computer name. Tasks can use installer and scripting technologies including MSI, EXE, BAT, Reg, and VBS. Searchable hardware and software inventory can optionally be stored in MS SQL and exported to Excel. The cloud Package Store provides ready-to-deploy tasks that PRO license users can download and edit. PRO also includes Windows AD integration, an MS Update dashboard, and remote command and registry tools. Deployment uses an agent, and version 9.0 added a web app option for remote workers without VPN. ABC-Deploy is available on web and Windows. The console requires Windows XP or later, .NET Framework 2.0 or higher, and an administrator account; target computers need Windows and .NET Framework 2.0 or higher for inventory collection. Plans include free options and PRO at €10 per client per year, including updates and support.
